Located in Fujian Province, Wuyi Mountain is a national nature reserve
covering a total area of 567 square km. In 1987, it was admitted
into the Man and Biosphere Reserve Network
by the UNESCO. Wuyi Mountain is famed as "the most attractive
scenery all over Southeast China". The nature reserve boasts
a rich subtropical forest ecological system in the southeast of mainland
China.
