The Soft Rime in Jilin City

Jilin City is located near a mountain and Songhua River flows through
its city proper. Winter will see trees along the two banks of Songhua River
dressed up in silvery white. When fog & steam freeze, soft rime
will be formed on the leaves of willows & pines, turning the whole
place into a spectacular scene. The soft rime on trees is like flawless
jade, or white cotton.
The soft rime in Jilin, scenery of Guilin, stone forest
in Yunnan and the three gorges of the Yangtze River together
are regarded as the four natural wonders of China. |
