Wild Camel (Camelus ferus)

The wild camel, distributed in Gansu and Qinghai
Provinces and Xinjiang Autonomous Region, has its habitat in desert
and semi-desert areas with an elevation of 1,700 and 2,800 metres. The
wild camel has been listed as the first-grade wild
animal protected by the state.
The wild camel is included in Family
Camelidae of Order Artiodactyla. |
